Love honey? Spend a Sunday afternoon tasting five very different honeys at Huneebee Project’s annual Hunee Presents fundraiser at Gioia. Led by Marina Marchese of Red Bee Honey, the guided tasting explores the surprising differences in honey from different flowers and landscapes. The afternoon also includes honey-inspired cocktails, wine and beer, Gioia bites, and a silent auction. All proceeds support Huneebee Project’s youth programs, which connect young people in New Haven to beekeeping, urban agriculture, environmental stewardship, and paid workforce development.
